- Emerald Publishing is offering towaive the article processing charge (APC) for 2 ICSEI sourced articles during 2020 (until February, 2021) on their Emerald Open Research (EOR) platform.EOR is a new and pioneering way to rapidly publish a range of research outputs, from original research articles to case studies and data notes. With open peer review controlled by the author and an open data policy, research will be freely available to read, download and reuse, reaching a truly global audience. Emerald Open Research offers six gateways, each aligned to the United Nations SDGs – Education and Learning is one of the gateways. See here for more information about EOR and the article guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who presented at ICSEI 2020 in Marrakesh, Morocco to share your work on the EOR platform! Articles can be research articles, method articles, case studies, study protocols, software tool articles, research notes, data notes, opinion articles, correspondence, editorials, or registered reports.

- Contribute to thefirst ‘ICSEI Dialogic’ to be published prior to the virtual ICSEI congress taking place on March 8 & 9 and 17 & 18 and will culminate in a virtual ‘fireside’ chat at the congress (date to be confirmed). The purpose of this first ‘ICSEI Dialogic’ is to generate dialogue across the ICSEI community that focuses on this year’s congress theme: Crossing Boundaries and Building Bridges. This dialogic will be a collection of 500 word reflective or viewpoint pieces in response to: ‘What boundaries need to be crossed and what bridges need to be built within the context of school effectiveness and improvement?‘

The selection committees will be comprised of the ICSEI Publications Sub-Committee and members of the Generational Renewal, Inclusion and Diversity (GRID) Standing Committee.
