Conference Dinner, 05/1/2011
Conference Dinner will be held in a local restraurant serving dishes of excellent Cypriot cuisine in a delicate apperance. Desserts and local wines and drinks will harmonically complete the rich menu to be tasted. The event can definitelely be considered as an opportunity to meet and get to know better your fellow delegates in a different yet relaxed enviroment complemented by live music.
Village Night Out, 06/1/2011
Village Nights Out are always popular as per previous participants. You will be transferred with fully airconditioned coaches to a traditional well- known village tavern . There you will be seated among a beautifully decorated enviroment and be served an array of meat dishes mostly; with a true taste of traditional recipies prepared mostly in villages and local houses. You will also be able to taste excellent Cypriot wine and traditional spirits like zivania and Live greek music by professional musicians will make the start in the entertainment of the night whereas you will be asked to take part in dancing and signing.
Limassol Half Day Excursion, 07/1/2011
Limassol is the second largest city of the island, with stretches of sandy beaches, beautiful traditional and modern buildings as well as world - class hotels. We will start our tour, visiting the Castle of Limassol, near the old port, where therein is housed the Medieval Museum and then walk along graphic pathways of the old city which has been recently renovated. We will continue our journey driving through acres of lemon tree plantations in the area of Fasouriou, where we will visit the medieval castle of Kolossi, a fine example of military architecture during Frankish period. Next follows a visit to the Sanctuary of God Apollon Ylatis, god of the woodland and protector of the kingdom Kourion as well as a visit to the Kourion Greco-Roman theatre which has been completely restored and is used for musical and theatrical performances set in a unique location.
Fish Night Out, 07/1/2011
This night will be dedicated to fish lovers. You will be taken by coach to a local restaurant known for the fresh fish and seafood. The well trained waiters will keep bringing a sumptuous selection of dishes comprising majorly of fish and selected seafood that you will be begging them to stop. The marine environment, the smells of grilled fish as well as the good music around you will ensure that your mood is kept high so that you have an enjoyable night.
Paphos Full Day Excursion, 08/1/2011
Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, Paphos has it all: long- aging history, lively environment, great sea views and truly unique locals.
Driving through the Limassol British Sovereign Base of Episkopi, we will reach 'Aphrodite's Rock' (Petra tou Romiou), where, according to mythology, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born. Our visit in Paphos will start with the 'Tombs of the Kings'. This area contains underground tombs carved out of solid rock, which date back to the 3rd century B.C said to be belong to noble men of those times. We will continue onwards to the Roman Villas of Dionyssos, where exqusite mosaic floors representing scenes of hunting and Greek mythology can be studied. Short time will be given for a visit to Paphos Fort which was originally built to protect the harbor. At this stage, we will stop at a fish tavern in the harbour for meze lunch. . We will then visit the Forty Columns - a Vyzantine Fortification, which is located near the harbour. Time permitting we will visit the municipal market and will have a final stop at the church of “Ayia Paraskevi” located in Yeroskipou village.
Nicosia Full Day Excursion, 08/1/2011
Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus and a must for every visitor on the island. Our tour will first take us to Cyprus Archaeological Museum revealing the island’s long history from Prehistoric Age. Driving along the ‘Green line’ and the old city of Nicosia with the picturesque local market within the Venetian walls, we will visit the Archbishopric, the Vyzantine Museum, St. John Cathedral and the Statue of Liberty. At this point we will make a stop for lunch at a traditional tavern. We will then walk to Levention Municipal Museum, reviving the old ways of Cypriot life from ancient to present times. At the end of the tour we will allocate for some time for a stroll and shopping.
All excursions are inclusive of: transfers in luxurious fully air-conditioned coaches, OfficiallyC.T.O. licensed tour guides, entrance fees to all sites, meze lunch with drinks (full- day excursions only) ,V.A.T. at 15% and taxes.
